[mawr-fing] - a special effect that changes (or morphs) one image or item into another through a seamless transition
How cool would a mobile device be that was:
- flexible (change the shape of, fold, pull apart, stretch and even wear);
- partially transparent;
- solar-powered;
- self-cleaning; and
- environment-sensing
“Sounds unbelievable!”
For those Generation X’ers who still feel a little ripped off by the many advanced technology promises of the “Beyond 2000″ tv show which just never eventuated, it might also be hard to get excited, but take a look at the Nokia’s Morph concept device.

More expected changes in the music industry
“Musically - what do you think 2008 will bring?”
CNET have written a fantastic article on their predicted changes in 2008 for the music industry.
What do you think about:
- Apple giving in on price flexibility;
- Digital Rights Management (DRM) issues being resolved;
- Ad supported downloads; and
- Increased social networking and online marketing by artists?
With bands like Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails continually pathing new directions; and social networking by fans having more influence, there’s interesting times ahead!
