Sony BMG to join Nokia Music Store

With Nokia being the big news in online music and gaming this past couple of weeks, it has been further confirmed that Sony BMG are onboard.

In a recent press release, Nokia stated:

“Sony BMG Music Entertainment has officially joined Nokia Comes With Music, a revolutionary way for people to discover and enjoy music with their Nokia device,”

Nokia Comes With Music is what will pull it all together, to add to the user interface and experience, to add to the options and subscription abilities. It is expected to launch in the second half of 2008 on a range of Nokia devices.

Of course, Sony BMG isn’t the only name being bandied about – Nokia’s press release alludes to lots of record labels, including Universal, EMI, Inertia – and many more. Now doubt as fast as this post is published some of those shall also be “confirmed”.
