Apple iPhones unavailable “company wide”

Further to our recent advice that Vodafone and Optus have signed with Apple to bring the iPhone to Australia “later this year”….

Apple are reportedly out of stock and/or no longer selling iPhones - according to at least their US and UK sites, where they note iPhones are “currently unavailable”.

As is always the case with Apple gadgets, rumours are circulating thick and fast that this means the launch of the next generation 3G iPhone may be very imminent as well (in the US at least).
