Apple news: iTunes update
Apple iTunes 8
At 10.00am in San Francisco, Apple’s Steve Jobs walked onto stage for the unveiling of what’s next – live from Apple’s “Let’s Rock” event.
He announced that it’s all about music – and headlined his keynote with the unveiling of the updated iTunes store – Apple iTunes 8:
“Now offering 8.5 million songs, over 125,000 podcasts, over 30,000 TV shows, 2600 movies… and now offer over 3,000 apps for iPhone and touch.”
TV shows in HD are also now available…
As well as a feature called “Genuis” where it recommends similar songs to add to your playlists.
So, new iTunes features, improved user interface – and just more, more, more.
I guessing over 3,000 apps for your iPod touch and iPhone is reason alone to upgrade
