BeatBearing, BeatBearing, Hit that perfect BeatBearing!

For those who love making music..

Check out this write up on technabob.com for a new gadget designed by Peter Bennett, a student at Queens University Belfast. It’s a music sequencer using steel ball bearings to create the beats and sounds. Cool!

Now, given my great technological explanation (not!), make sure you watch the video to fully understand what its all about.

And all borne out of a thesis on: “Interaction-Design Techniques for Multimodal Musical Interfaces”.

Makes you wonder what else he’ll be creating for the music industry 5 years down the track…
