Love your Mac? Enhance your Apple Mac experience with Apple’s new operating system, Snow Leopard.
What is Snow Leopard?
Snow Leopard is an upgrade for Mac users currently using Mac OS X Leopard.
In Apple’s words “Snow Leopard is a simpler, more powerful and more refined version of the Mac OS X”.
It delivers a wide range of enhancements, next-generation technologies, out-of-the-box support for Microsoft Exchange Server, and new accessibility features. It’s the world’s most advanced operating system, finely tuned from installation to shutdown.
Why buy it?
With Snow Leopard, iLife ’09, and iWork ’09 all in one box, the Mac Box Set is the best way to upgrade your Mac experience, especially if you’re still using Mac OS X Tiger.
“Where to buy Snow Leopard”

Already a somewhat crowded arena, the notebook market now has Nokia as a new player.
Only snippets of information have so far been released, but the little 2cm thin Nokia Booklet 3G will run Microsoft Windows, have a glass 10.1-inch HD display, connect at 3G/HSPA speeds, have WiFi and bluetooth, feature A-GPS and Ovi Maps, a 12 hour battery life….
And sync seemlessly with your Nokia phone of course. No doubt Nokia mobile phone fans might be a little excited.
It is expected to be properly unveiled in early September at the Nokia World 09.
Hot young Scot, Calvin Harris has recorded his single, Ready for the Weekend, with models and their bodies making the music, a ‘humanthesizer’ he has named it…
Clever!
Calvin explains just how he manages to do this in the video below:
Download the single – or album
The single is off his new album, also Ready for the Weekend.
Whilst I’m normally excited by brand new shiny things like iPods and other MP4s, there’s also a lot to be said about including a second hand MP3 player in your collection.
And, don’t think second hand, think “pre-loved”…
“Why you ask?”
Many uses spring to mind. Here’s just a few:
Using in dodgy suburbs, when you don’t want to get jumped for your ’stand-out-like-dogs-b***s’ white earphones;
Being able to ignore people. Just pop in the earphones and appear to be too engrossed in your music to talk / answer / listen
Capturing celebrities drunken murmurings when you’re out and about (thanks, voice recorder); or
Logging your investigations and findings during a covert operation;
Sneakily listening to Triple J on the job site when “no radios are allowed” (so small it fits in any pocket); or
Setting the alarm and hiding it under your flat mates pillow to wake them at all sorts of odd hours
Ummm, playing up to 17 hours of your favourite digital music? Just a thought…
So then where would you find such a beast to do all that?
Finding an MP3 player in good condition
Grab yourself a bargain on an iRiver MP3 player – comes with free carry case and earphone buds.
