MJ’s glove goes under the hammer
Michael Jackson glove sold at auction

Picture the late Michael Jackson and you also picture a white glove. It became like a trademark.
During his HIStory tour down under in 1996, a couple of lucky Melbournites caught an MJ bejwelled glove, which has caused quite a commotion at auction last week. Although valued at $30,000, it passed under the hammer for a whopping $57,600.
All parties happy
The glove will join other celebrity memorabilia at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel.
The new owner, Warwick Stone, says the glove has great provenance. “Michael Jackson gave it to someone in public in Australia and most collectors of Michael Jackson memorabilia knew about this glove…” “I think I got the bargain.”
Auction house spokesperson said they were also very happy with result and said that three similar gloves are to be auctioned in the US later this year.
