Recycling: iPods
Were you lucky enough to score a new iPod this festive season?
Are you selling your old one on eBay? No? Then, rather than just either ditch it, or leave it in your drawer of pre-loved gadgets - please - think about recycling it!

Podmedic, a company in Sydney, offer such a service. (They also apparently repair iPods and replace batteries)
I contacted them by email to find out more about their recycling program. They advised that they do a complete recycle service for any redundant iPods and iPod parts. “We accept the iPods (in any state) and break them down into parts where they will get re-used or recycled as to not end up in land fill. Batteries are recycled and where mercury is contained in LCD’s, they will also be recycled, based on local ordinances.”
So, help do the right thing
Ps Taking my green hat off now!
