Overview of 4 October Apple Event
New Apple CEO Tim Cook took to the stage at the Apple Cupertino campus and welcomed everyone. He noted that he is ‘very excited’ about his new role and delves straight in.
It was in this room 10 years ago – which Apple calls their ‘town hall’ – Apple launched the original iPod – and a ‘revolution in music’.

Apple Event Keynote
Anyone wishing to watch the Keynote video in it’s entirety, can do so here -> Apple Keynote Oct 2011
Update: Watching the keynote video, and knowing what I know now, it is evident that something was amiss with the speakers. The event lacked the usual excitmenet, the mood was far more somber. It was a get in, get out type of keynote.
