What’s your favourite song of the last two decades?

triple j  has been counting down punters’ favourite and Hottest 100 songs each year for the last 20 years.  Can you believe that?

In 1989 Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart was crowned with the top spot.  What will your favourite song of all time be two decades on? It’s time for YOU to decide.

To celebrate 20 years of the Hottest 100, triple j are asking you – “What is your hottest song of all time?”

Australia Day well spent!

Yesterday for many Aussies was spent in close proximity to the stereo for Triple J’s hottest 100 countdown. Did you guess No 1?

I was not at all surprised by Kings of Leon taking out the most coveted no1 position…  Them, alongside MGMT and The Presets managed to even snavel two songs each in the Top 10.  Well done, especially to The Presets, being local Aussie lads!
