Wish you knew more about Podcasting?
Podcasting: Fresh Juice anyone?
(If you’re already a podcasting wizz, then you probably don’t need to keep reading this post, however you can let us know about your favourite podcasts…)
If you don’t know how to and/or haven’t yet tapped into the unbelievable amount of some “paid for”, but mostly “free” information, thoughts, views, radio, etc that podcasting programs can supply you with, then now is as good a time as any to start!
First things first: What is Podcasting?
The term podcast is a combination of pod (Portable On Demand) and broadcast.
Next, you’re going to need some podcasting software.
Juice: an iTunes alternative
Juice is a multi-platform (Windows and Mac) easy to use podcasting software, which supports many media players and is available for free download.
Anything you download can be listened to on your MP3, iPod, other portable digital media players, or computer. It allows you to subscribe to regular programs and podcasting feeds; and manages all of your podcast subscriptions using the one software.
Miss a broadcast? Don’t worry! You can select, schedule and download shows and music to play whenever you want.
It also has an inbuilt directory of thousands of listed podcast feeds, with more content always being added.
So, it’s Juice – and it’s fresh!

(Important: If you’re running Windows Vista – you need to make a couple of changes – see here)
Now, come with us on the journey of discovery!
And as always, we welcome feedback and reviews. Have you discovered a podcast that you just know ALL our readers would love to share? Drop us a comment…
Of course, once your podcast subscribing skills are all polished, maybe you can start creating your own podcasts for others to subscribe to. Perhaps world domination is possible?
