But you don’t have to wait for summer - you can get involved with the Impossible Music Festival this coming weekend, Friday 19 - Sunday 21 September.

Triple J are busting out epic live sets all weekend.

You’ll hear live shows from some of the biggest names in music. An impossible line up of bands past and present.

Head to the Impossible Music Festival website and pick your favourite three bands from the mammoth list of live recordings.

Leave your comments on the guest book - and you could be live on air introducing your favourite gig.

News.com.au: A nighclub fire overnight in Flinder’s Lane, Melbourne has halted plans for The Living End’s upcoming gig in AC/DC lane.

The Living End have just finished recording their latest album and are scheduled to give Triple J followers a pre-release showdown this weekend.

It is reported the concert will still go ahead, but details of where/how are not known at present.

Ticket holders should listen in to Triple J for more information.
